knitting (non)progress...

so the last couple of days (weeks?) i have been neglecting my knitting. i have had one glove and one hat still on needles since the end of march. mostly i have been spinning up yarns in between unpacking/organizing sessions. it's pretty sad really.

but i'm sure i'll get my butt in gear once everything has settled down.

home things:
-two weekends ago, we (spontaneously) moved into a new apartment which has an extra room to use as a studio and hardwood floors(joy!). new apartment is only about a mile from old apartment, but we need to stay close to work...or else we might not want to go.
-i have a new cactus

art things:
-so many things to post on etsy...kitteh hats, anyone?
-i signed up for a print show in august with arthouse co-op.
-i got a snazzy new chair to sit on when i use my easel.
-frank is finishing up the art for ingrid's album. i can't wait to see it when it's done. (i'm so proud of you, sweetness)
-haven't really been knitting with a fervor as a result of the moving, but the spinning has been coming along nicely. i finished my first single and shelled out 13$ for a target laundry rack to dry them on. i hope my awesome yarns don't break it.
-daydreaming about spinning wheels and conversion vans
-i like seeing all of our art stuff set up...makes me want to do things :)

other things:
-i am down to 2 1/2 boxes of samoas (out of 8)...still have both of the thin mints.
-spring feels like it's sticking around now.
-finishing up taxes...hoorah

small list of things i'm liking:
-hot peppers on sandwiches (forgot how good they are)
-chocolate covered, rose flavored turkish delight.
-all of the above mentioned happenings.
